Recognized as leading railway heritage specialists, MWA International has so far undertaken a range of history and heritage research, that interpret and evaluated various assignments for the Heritage Unit of the NSW State Rail Authority.
Some of our most prestigious projects include supervising design and implementation of the Australian Railway Monument and the Rail Journeys Museum at Werris Creek in north-west New South Wales; while Robert McKillop was the lead author of the history of Sydney’s Central Railway Station and of the Great Northern Railway (both published in 2008). We also contracted by State Rail Heritage to prepare a historical context study of the NSW Railways. In addition Robert F McKillop was also an editor of the magazine Light Railways for 24 years. From November 2012 to May 2018 Robert McKillop was editor of the Australian Railway History magazine published by the Australian Railway Historical Society, NSW Division. Accordingly, we at MWA International have extensive experience in addressing the core priorities of our clients.
As leading railway heritage advisers, we specialise in historic and heritage studies for community groups and organisations across Australia. Specifically, we offer expert services in the documentation and conservation of various heritage items. Our communication set-up is arranged to facilitate open-ended discourse with our clients, backed by broad-scope engagement with fruitful suggestions and cooperative implementation.
At MWA International, we bring to the table innovation, knowledge and expertise. Having intimately engaged with the consulting trade since 1972, we are particularly aware of core market dynamics and above all, the priorities of our clients.
